INTRO TO FILM
For the project to the right, our assignment was called Letter-Off and we were tasked with removing one letter from a movie title and adding another one that could make sense, and then once you did that we had to edit the poster to match the new title.
For the projects above and below, they were our first photo shops of the year and the assignment was to pick one animal and one person and make it look they were popping out of the image.
About The Class
This is a full year course emphasizing the basics of what goes into producing films. This course is an elective that uses a hands-on approach to learning. Activities will include basic camera work and editing techniques along with sound and photographic manipulation. Students will be taught the basics of what happens in the film industry. Students will be required to appear on camera and produce a certain number of projects during the course of the year.
The Projects We Do
We have a lot of projects in this class. The first project of the year was a virtual locker that had 10 of our biggest interest as a way for our teacher Mr. Grillo to get to know us better.. The project is shown to the right.
For the project up above we were tasked with combining two movies or tv shows into one title, but the last word of one movie/show had to be the same as the first word for the other one. I decided to do No country for old men and Men in Black.
The project above was assigned right before winter break, so we were tasked adding 4 holiday images to a background image and we had to add an image of ourselves too.
For the francophobia project about, our assignment was to pick a weird word off of a website and and add 4 images to another image, which can help depict the definition of the word.
For the Video above, our assignment was to pick a song and make a music video for that song, so I picked one dance by Drake.
For the project above we were tasked with taking an image of ourselves and adding it to an album cover in which we would make the Music video for, so my album is the album that one dance was in.
Our assignment for the project above was to create a miscast in which we had to cast an actor in to a movie in which they would not be in, so I put Will Ferrell who is known for comedies into a horror movie called Smile.
For the Video above our assignment was to make a video that related to our word definition project, so since I picked Francophobia, my video is about me running from a French guy.
